I am originally from India, and thus, a person of Indian Origin. Lived and worked in the USA for almost 20 years as an auditor from 1979 to 1996, and then returned home to India in 1996. I have been living in Chennai, India since my return in 1996. I am a very decent and cultured individual, looking for friends. Outside of my own, I like the African and the Far Eastern cultures a lot and would like to learn more about them , by getting to be friends with students and people from these countries.
Interests: reading, metaphysics, chess, travel, temples., , movies

how to aquire I.D. for bank account after a 30 year absence from India by HariAum

I am a Canadian Citizen of Indian origin, have retired and returned to India for a prolognged stay (OCI). How can I get a second ID to be able to open bank account beside my passport. Any help in this regard will be appreciated.

One solution would be to get an Indian Postal Department ID card from one of the large post offices in your city of residence. It costs about 250 INR and will be good proof of your background information and other related details. Thanks and take ... Read More
