About

Not even in my wildest dreams did I imagine I would end up living in a Muslim country, let alone in Morocco, specially being a woman and being told that women in this countries are not given any rights at all. A couple of years ago I met my boyfriend, who is Moroccan and honestly one of a kind, at college and in the name of love I decided to give Morocco a shot, I mean why not? First of course I had somewhat of a cultural shock, but honestly as time went by I realized Mexico and Morocco aren't really as different as one would've imagined, we have many many similarities, believe it or not. And even if the first month was rough (during Ramadan) Morocco started to grow on me and I love it here. I currently work in a hotel and even if I haven't had much time to visit around I am having a great time.
