After two years studying in Italy and France I am now working towards a PhD in microelectronics in Frankfurt (Oder) which is ~1 hour from Berlin. I am originally from Pretoria and speak Afrikaans, English and German. Hope to meet some other people from SA in the region.

I have applied for German citizenship but cannot have it unless I renounce my Australian citizenship. I want to keep my Oz citizenship. Has anyone had any success with dealing with german administration on this topic? I've passed all the exams etc ...

I don't think it is really justified to complain if you can't have two nationalities...Sure, it is convenient in some cases but one can't demand drawing benefits from both. If you really feel that German, take the German citizenship! According to ... Read More

what will be the cost of studying engineering in Berlin...what will the estimate amount which includes everything like tuition fees, entertainment and everything else...and how many years does the course have...thanks...hoping for some nice replies
