I really love the wet markets. You can buy the most beautiful vegetables and fruits for almost no money.
Total lack of organized law....or personal space.Theres close to 100 million people...and maybe 2 million are beyond filthy rich.Almost all the others are dirt poor.they get buy well.....but the gap is worse than even the States..

Just trying to learn cost of living standards in real terms verses the western countries. I see some of these costs (real estate, domestic help, etc...) online. What about utility costs, health insurance, medical care, automobile expenses, taxes, ...

Availability of medicines by Zillvars
I take medication for diabetes and blood pressure. I read that most medicines can be obtained "over the counter" without a prescription. Is this the case? Are there any concerns about"counterfeit" drugs?
