About

I am Parisian, 2007 was marked by an urgent need to change my life, I packed my suitcase and arrived in Reunion, but very quickly I went in circles! 1 year later, the Mauritius opportunity presented itself, I discovered a dynamic Mauritius, a desire to move forward, an open economy and social potential, all colored with the "zen" attitude very characteristic of Creole cultures, it seemed to suit me well.. 3 and a half years later I am still here! After a professional career as chaotic as it was rich in learning, I resumed my activities as a headhunter and opened a consulting firm in 2010 on this beautiful island of Mauritius. I love this island because it welcomed me and it has a strong identity, for my part, I find it "refreshing" in many aspects! (Forgive the expression), notably in this non-jaded human relationship, also precisely because it is not as advanced as ours, so certain processes take me back 10, 15 years, I like this change of scenery. (look at the lottery!) As we know, everything is not "blue" for the population, for the majority it is even often difficult, but there is in the Mauritian, this positivity and this smile which I missed so much in France, and in Paris particularly. Today, I understand Creole well, I have Mauritian friends (real ones), and a fulfilling job. To conclude, I think I didn't do too well with my integration. It is understood that I miss my French culture, this fluid relationship with the community, and all its codes.. I miss many things (my roots, my France, family, friends!) However, I have gained others, almost unexpected. I discovered myself! I will be very happy, through the site, to exchange my experiences and meet new friends...French. Friendships
Interests: , debates, electro (the good one), walking, not idiots (either), cold beer, concerts, dinner with friends, preparing cocktails, films, guitar on the beach, photography, sea trips, people smiling
