About
US citizen that has lived in Buenos Aires for the last 16 months and will soon be moving to Zulia, Venezuela. I have never been there but met a girl that I fell in love with and plan to live in her hometown of Ciudad Ojeda on the Eastern Shore of Lake Maracaibo. I know nothing of the area and have some concerns about being a US citizen living in a country with a government hostile to the USA. Especially since my background is in US politics I worry that I may come under suspicion but don't want to sound paranoid. Can anybody give me info about living in the Maracaibo area and what it is like for US citizens?
