About

Hi all, I am from Italy and moved to the USA. The reality of being an expat hit me like a ton bricks when I had to explain it to my daughter. From then on I feel like a different person, and I am aware of the fact I am not a native. I run a business in a very touristy area for the majority of the year, and I 4 winter months off. I really like my work because it is fun and because it leaves me time for larger projects that would not fit in a weekend. Sometimes it is alienating because I am the only one I know with this type of lifestyle.
Interests: travel, foreing countries, piano, cooking, spanish, life in general

Since Apr 2008

Montana, USA

I run a business with different activities.
The most time consuming activity is running a shop in a tourist town.
Love nature in Montana, people are not complicated and pretentious, life occurs at a friendly pace
Winters are a bit scary, but, hey, no place is perfect.

Rome, Italy

Aug 1960 - Aug 1986

Rome, Italy

My family of origin is in Italy, and I don't really have projects there
I left when I was in college and I had a part time job as a physics instructor in a private school. Don't do that anymore, though.
This is where my hometown is, and it's a pretty little town on the coast. Of course I like the food, and the people.
Well, it is sad to say it, but Italy is in trouble, and I am not sure why people are still there or that they don't revolt. Maybe once you are too sophisticate revolution is not an option.
