About

I am a qualified financial adviser authorised and regulated by the FSA (UK) and I look after the financial needs of those British Forces who live and work in Germany. I am the father of 4 beautiful children whose ages range from 2 to 8 years old and are brought up in a bilingual household. My wife Silke, is a teacher of English to adults as a second language at university level. As the British Forces withdraw from Germany I am approaching a crossroads, to either return to the UK, or explore my options around the world. I am now trying to gather as much information about expat activities in the hope I might find an opportunity that would suit me and my family.

Julian, that is a very interesting question indeed. I have been pondering over my answers all morning and to be totally honest, I have struggled to come up with a suitable response...but here goes anyway:1. The very poor are looked after. 2. Good ... Read More
