I came to Spain about 5 weeks ago to retire instead I am building 2 businesses with my son and his partner. Alhaurin is starting to feel like home as we meet and make new friends. I can't believe its taken me so long to get here. I just love everything about Spain and have only met friendly, social people, even in the Social Security office, local police and the town hall. And the weather is fantastic. Anyhoos, I'm nearly 60, recently divorced and enjoying every minute of it. I'd like to make friends but I'm definitely not looking for romance. I'm easy going and had plenty of friends in Oxford, I'm not fussy I get on with everybody, gays, straights, male, female and those that go both ways. So long as I can laugh and have a good time I'm happy.
