My name is Louise and I've been in Manchester for a week now. I found a roommate who seemed nice to me but the fact is that my 3 roommates are never there so I've been alone from the start. I booked my return ticket in a month and I hope to find a job here so I can stay a little longer but what interests me at the moment is meeting people and being able to go out with friends to discover Manchester a little better. I am sociable and cheerful, I have no problem speaking to people, even in English, but I am a little too shy to go directly to someone I don't know.
