I am a high school science teacher currently living in North Carolina originally from New York. I love teaching science, but unfortunately, I have watched the US education system go downhill over the last 8 years and am tired of the way we teachers are poorly paid and treated. I also don't like the direction the country is going in general, so I would like to explore life and teaching in a new part of the world. This region, including Bahrain, Qatar, the UAE and Oman and the culture there all interest me. It would also be nice to expand my knowledge of this part of the world. If anyone could provide me some comparison info on the style of life in Oman vs. the US, I would be grateful.
