My expat journey

Noumea, New Caledonia
I arrived in 2007, a week after my friend who decided to come. We got to work straight away (or almost). We took the opportunity to visit the places and surrounding areas. Then following a few misadventures and the arrival of a baby, my friends and I decided to leave the country for new adventures...Canada, Costa Rica, Chile...
When I arrived in the country, I first worked as a warehouse worker at the bank before becoming a versatile construction worker. Following a layoff I ended up setting up my own business as a painter (building, decoration and trompe l'oeil).
I like the decor of course, but above all the ease with which you can set up your own business and therefore be free and do the job you like.
The differences between the locals and the metro, the difficulties in mixing, the general state of mind, the functioning, the excessive prices of food...

Languedoc Roussillon, France
My childhood, my life, my family, my history....I dream of having a house there where I can stop over between all my travels and rest there in my old age.
Study of graphics, painter in letters and decoration. House painter for a while before becoming a designer for a store creating wrought iron furniture.
Life, its regions, its heritage, its history, its diversity, its culture...
鈥淲ork more to earn less鈥. Difficulties making ends meet despite decent salaries...
