Coming from USA to South Africa. First assignment as an expat. Would like to get as much info as possible from expats or just anyone who has lived in the northern suburbs of Jo'Burg. All new to us and a little overwhelming. Little,things like shopping, doctors, vets, utilities, high speed Internet. Really any info the better. Please only reliable info. No spamming plzzzzzz. Same as above. Mainly nursing. On sabbatical to heal from back surgery that didn't go so well. :(

Atlanta is a clean city with friendly people. Like any other major city it had its problem with crime but you learn where and when to go places. Just like anywhere. I am in Philadelphia right now awaiting the move to Jo'Burg. They have the sane problem too.
