I am a divorced woman, retired, for 2 years; after spending my life in the Paris region, I moved to the provinces a few months ago and I discovered that I don't like it there. I rented an apartment in Tunisia for 1 year and I would eventually like to settle there. I would therefore like to know which status to adopt? expat or not? what advantages or disadvantages? I would also like to meet French people on site (Hammamet) Are there any associations for organized activities etc? I will arrive at the beginning of September...thank you in advance for your welcome advice!
