Rebekah (an American) and Paddy (her wise-ass English husband) moved to rural Palencia in 2006, started rebuilding a tumbledown adobe farmhouse, and now host occasional passing pilgrims on the Camino de Santiago hike. Both are career newspaper journalists with a keen eye for humor and fun, a sharp, acerbic writing style, and an abiding love for all the chaos that is Espain.
Interests: hiking, architecture, humor, literature, beliefs, wine, horses, cheese, donkeys, art, dogs
