My namae is Laura and I am from Alberta Canada...last year my husband and I bought a small piece of land in the rainforest in the Cayo District near San Ignacio. We are planning on making a permanent move in the next few years and supporting ourselves with a small business of somekind and some savings from our soon to be "past lives".....I am heading down there for the winter this year to explore and learn as much as I can. I absolutely love Belize and appreciate the under-developed life I am able to live just simply and peaceful with beautiful people who know nothing of the poisonous place I come from............I welcome anyone who would like to share words or even a visit if you're passing through....good luck everyone with your adventures and searches for a better life..."seek and ye shall find"...
