Hello everyone, my name is Mercedes and next month I am going to Costa Rica with my husband. It is a first contact since our desire is to move our residence there. We both have jobs in Spain but I don't know for how long, as things are. Honestly, we are looking for a change of life and to work on something that we both like. I have been working in the tourism sector for 12 years, I have a degree in Tourism Business and Activities, better known as Tourism. My husband has been working at a hotel front desk for 23 years. Anyway, after studying several countries we believe that Costa Rica is the best place in the world. I am very lost with the issue of papers that we are going to need to work there. The idea is to start our own business with the money we get from the sale of the house and a restaurant we have. I had thought about going to the Guanacaste area, to the Pacific side, because yes, what I am clear about is that I want to live on the beach. I would also like to know how the issue of doctors is going, I think there is no social security like in Spain, and I don't know how the issue of insurance is going, what it covers, how they are used...
