About

First came marriage, then came Rome. But it all started in New York. Newly married, Paul and I packed it up, quit our jobs (he鈥檚 a CPA, I was a VP at Martha Stewart.com), drove cross country to drop off the dog and the car, then headed for Rome. Now he鈥檚 at FAO and I鈥檓 a writer/consultant. But we鈥檙e not alone. With beginner鈥檚 luck on our side, we welcomed our first child, Phoebe, during our first year in Rome. So here we are. This blog follows the ups, downs and only-in-Italy moments of ex-pats, parents and newlyweds.
