About

Lena, French in search of new things and adventure, even if my thirties have calmed me down a little on that level. At the end of my literature studies, I emigrated to Egypt, where I stayed for two years, teaching in Cairo and recharging my batteries in the oases of the West. After two years in France, here I am expatriated again, this time in Istanbul, where I found a job! The Orient is definitely pursuing me... unless it's me who's looking for it. You can follow my journey on http://quetedelaventure.canalblog.com/
Interests: arts, writing, traveling, horses, running, cooking

Occupation

I am Employed.

Istanbul, 罢眉谤办颈测别

Having been offered a very attractive teaching position not far from the city, I plan to move there at the end of this summer, for an indefinite but long period... If you have any good ideas about the city, places to see, to live - I have only spent a week there to date - I am interested!
French teacher, always. This time for young Turks learning it as a second language.
The Blue Mosque, Topkapi, and this red bulgur puree that we serve with salad leaves and mint. You see, I don't know the place very well at the moment...
It will become apparent later.

Recharge my batteries, reconnect with friends and family, and complete my professional teaching experience. Find a calmer environment, too!
I am a teacher of French and literature at all levels, with a predilection for small classes (less interesting programs, but children are good); for three years now, and I have had the chance to find different and therefore enriching positions.
Calm, ease (well, maybe not for public transport...), freedom, possibility of sharing language and culture with others. Well, it's still my country... And then there's the wine and the cheese, cocorico
The coldness, the aggressiveness of Paris in particular, the cold in winter, the rain in all seasons, the high cost of living, and then all this misery (in France, yes - look around you)

Le Caire, Egypt

Le Caire, Egypt

After working as a private teacher, I was hired in a French high school in Cairo. I stayed there for a semester, and then I left to discover the world of the Bedouins...
I studied literature, in Nantes then at the Sorbonne, and as without the competitive examinations they don't bring much, I went to Egypt where I found work!
The animation, the movement, the heat, the generosity of so many people, the tea, the foul, the halawa and the shisha
The incessant noise, the pollution, some slightly heavy looks...
