About
Long before before graduating in the fields of Journalism and International Politics, I had been introduced to the experience of living in several countries and the interculturality that goes along with it. After a very inspiring internship with the UN regional headquarters in Bangkok in the first half of 2012, I chose to alter my focus and become active as a journalist again. My stay at the UN (and more in particular, its human rights department - OHCHR) in Thailand opened my mind when it comes to human rights violations in the region of South-East Asia (but to a certain extent as well on a global level). It was also very eye-opening in terms of the international atmosphere I was immersed in and the diverse people I met in Thailand. After a returned stay in Bangkok and much time spent in Cambodia's capital to set up a local web-building team, it is my wish to further enhance my writing skills and develop all necessary tools for that major global challenge in this turbulent era: intercultural communication. Living abroad and grasping different ways of living can only add up to the creativity that goes along with this!
