My expat journey

I am working here and enjoy going for rockclimbing at Kangoroo Point during my free time. I am always open for weekend trips, as I enjoy traveling, camping and bushwalking.
I enjoy going out to West End with my friends, to nice bars or restaurants.
I have been working as an Environmental Scientist, doing investigation on groundwater and soil contamination.

I studied at the Universidad de Los Andes - double diploma in environmental engineering.
Then I did a 3 months internship in Medellin in an environmental consultancy company.
Colombians! Those people are so nice, smiling all the time.
The landscape were absolutely beautiful. I had the chance to travel a lot during my holidays and went to el Eje Cafetero, La Guajira, Santa Marta, Cartagena, Parque Tairona, el Amazonas, Villa de Leyva, Santander...
There is always music in the streets and always something funny happening.
The air con' and the movies in the buses...

I did my studies in France, graduated in 2009 with a master's degree in Environmental Engineering of the Ecole des Mines de Nantes. Then I worked 9 months as a volonteer for different social organisations.
After that I looked for a job abroad and found one, in Australia!
