My wife and I are both retired military officers who lived in Bremen for our first Army tour. She is now retired and I work in the federal government at the SFVAMC. We are about 4 years from final retirement and are exploring France as a full or part time option.

My two cents says that the French Riviera is the best place based on leisure, food, climate, etc. The International could be Nice or Marseille. While the prices "on the water" may be extreme, there are plenty of little villages along the coast. ... Read More
