I am 32 years old, have two wonderful sons and a fabulous husband. I can ride a Wonky Bike- that is a bike that you turn the handle bars one way and the wheel turns the other. I trained as a Master Butcher and one day I will do it again. I love the job, just didn't want to miss my kids growing up. I married my wonderful husband who is a forensic scientist. My husband applied for a job in Canada in 2010 and now we live in Edmonton, Alberta. I love food. I love to cook and eat it obviously but I also love its story. I am keen to know my foods story. Where it grew, lived and how it ended up on my plate. In my days as a butcher the meat I trained with came from my Nan and Grandad's farm which is pretty special in terms of a food story to your plate. So here I am in Canada. I am working to make new friends and establish a new life for me and my family. I plan to do this through food and the odd gin and tonic.
