I was in real estate, and I opened a car parts company.
Sun every day and dry air. Positive energy, real estate is not expensive at the moment. The mountain not far away.
It is too hot in summer (40 to 50 degrees). Not enough things to do for the children. Not enough trees and vegetation.

I moved there in 1998, I didn't speak a word of English. We can say that the first 2 years were difficult. You have to learn a new language, a new way of living. After 2 years you start to get used to it and it becomes easier. I got married in San Diego in 2003
I opened a perfume store, I also went door to door, sold on markets and I was the manager of a T-shirt store.
The sea, the city is very pretty, the Spanish side of the streets. Temperatures are moderate there.
Lots of fog between April and July. Rentals are very expensive and California has too many regulations that prevent you from working the way you want.
