My family and I have been living in Normandy for 16 years. Our eldest son has started Prep at Nantes, and our youngest hopes to do so soon. We have a large house and garden and living in a small, growing village. My wife and I both worked in the Uk before coming to France and have enjoyed the contrast between country and city life. Oour family home will be too big with the boys away and we are looking to move to Bordeaux, possibly to live in an apartment. Having never lived long term in a "high rise", we would appreciate some pros and cons. We aer planning our third visit to Bordeaux in April 2013.
