I am a retired Avionics Technician at Air Canada living in Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada. I am interested in the Asian countries such as the Philippines, Thailand and Veitnam for example. I have had enough of the -30C weather of Winnipeg but would need a country that has adequate health insurance coverage even though I am in my early 60's. I am recently divorced so my choice of a country is quite open. The early interest in the Philippines is due to the fact that I worked with a few Filiapinos at Air Canda and learned of their country from them. Any info that can be gleaned from this site would be most welcome.
