The city is beautiful, you can find people from many other countries.
The best thing is Summer in Vancouver, winter is fun if you like snow activities ;)
The only bad thing about Vancouver is that during the winter it rains for quite a few days, it takes a couple of years to get used to not seeing it alone for several weeks, especially if you come from a warm country.
