I am a bilingual Canadian technical writer currently working and living in Luxembourg with my (now retired) husband and 18 year old daughter. I have 2 other daughters both working in difficult parts of the world as humanitarian aid workers with Doctors without Borders. My husband is French and I also have French nationality and I have lived several years in Paris where we keep an apartment as a home base for ourselves and our daughters. Before coming to Luxembourg we have lived for significant periods of time in Genova, Italy, in the Ivory Coast and Senegal, in Niger, in the Congo (Brazzaville) and in Mauritania. I left Canada in 1977 and have only been back for holidays since then. We are planning to return to Canada this year as residents.
