Melbourne, Australia

Jan 2006 - Mar 2008

Melbourne, Australia

I went there for my studies at RMIT University and Chisholm Institute of TAFE (Dandenong) respectively. I worked at Delaware North companies as bartender, cashier, waiter, and fast food attendant at the Telstra Dome (now Ethihad Stadium), worked for various events like AFL games, soccer games, rugby ganes, Australian Open 2007 & 2008, concerts, receptions, etc.
I liked every bit of Melbourne, the people are nice and friendly. Such beautiful places to visit, life itself is good to live. They have this thing about being Australian, such a mixture of races. They have a culture for cars, which is incredible. A big and beautiful country (though I was only at Melbourne). The beer, (Carlton Draught, oh my...). Fooood... What can I say? Such a variety of food. Pies, are just yummily awesome.
Insecurity, wogs, bogans, racism at certain places (but not in the majority of places I went to).
