I am originally a scouser (from Liverpool) but moved with my husband and 2 kids to Malta in 2009. It was the hardest thing we have ever done but on the whole it was worth it. Things are not perfect, I dont expect any place in the world to be a complete paradise, but we are happy here and the kids would not even think of going back to the UK now as they have a good life here. We took a huge risk but thankfully it paid off for us.
