Moved to the USA 7 months ago with my wife who is an american citizen. Got married 5 years ago in the USA and moved back to the UK lived there for 5 years when we finally decided enough was enough and time to move back to the USA. Havent met any expats living around me and miss talking about british things you'll know what i mean if your an expat haha.

Dont know if its different in other states but i moved from the UK to Pennsylvania and needed a social security number to open an account. But, my advice would be try and see if you can open an account with what you have, but i was asked for SSN ... Read More
