J'ai grandi dans le sud de la Californie et j'ai vécu ici toute ma vie.
Étudiant de longue date, bien que récemment diplômé (oui !). Maintenant, je travaille comme libraire et je serai bientôt fille au pair à l'étranger.
La Californie du Sud a vraiment le meilleur temps. Je peux m'en plaindre, mais c'est parce que je n'ai jamais vécu ailleurs. Hiver = temps dans les années 60 et été = temps dans les années 70/80. C'est absolument magnifique et les plages sont magnifiques. Je me sens très chanceux de vivre dans une région comme celle-ci.
Même si c'est beau et intéressant, il n'y a pas une histoire très profonde derrière cet endroit. Je l’aime toujours, mais j’aime aussi la façon dont, dans des endroits avec une longue histoire de civilisation, on peut presque sentir le passé dans l’air. Cela n'arrive pas ici.

The weather in California is hard to beat, always pretty nice year round. The beaches near where I live are great (oh yeah, and I live close to the beach). California produce is wonderful. Things are open 24/7
It can be very superficial. So much energy is spent focusing on how people look, exercise (nothing wrong with that, but when it's an obsession that's not good either), and eating "healthy." Also, there isn't much history or culture.
Paris, France
I was an au pair in Paris. Paris is my heart home, and I am at my happiest when I live in Europe.
Au Pair
The city is simply magical, and not necessarily in the cliche ways. It has so much history and culture, and quite simply, I love it. It's not perfect, but it's perfect for me.
I had to use the RER, and I hate it. Still want to move back to Paris, but I hate the RER. Also, it can be difficult to find places to buy groceries at night and on Sundays.
