I'm Ruth, 29, from Dublin. I decided to join because I've made up my mind to relocate to Gibraltar in a few months time, and I'm in the process of putting together a plan. I enjoy writing, cinema, red wine, watching films, and reading. I'm in the process of writing a novel, and hope to have that, and a volume of my poetry published someday soon. Music wise, I'm mostly into trad goth and 80s, although I like an ecclectic mix of others too. Examples are: The Cure, New Model Army,Siouxsie and The Banshees, Depeche Mode, Adam and the Ants, Dire Straits, Nick Cave, Michael Jackson, and Johnny Cash. Films I like include; Withnail and I, The Shawshank Redemption, Single White Female, The Wicker Man, Misery, The Lost Boys, The Goonies, Working Girl, All of the Hammer Horrors, Sweeney Tod, Fight Club, Candy, the stoning of Soraya M,the Monty Python Films, and arty foreign films that tend to be shown at 3am.
