About

I left Paris, my job, my apartment, my friends to come and settle in LA on October 5, 2009. I had an opportunity with a J-1 visa to work in retail. I really wanted to stay here, I did odd jobs (selling eyelash extensions on a website, nanny/personal assistant) then I worked in parallel on a project that was close to my heart: starting my own business. I obtained an E2 visa for 5 years. On April 18, 2012 I opened my restaurant "Your Pasta Story", after months of searching for premises, negotiations, work.... For different reasons I had to sell my restaurant.... I am on a new project (no restoration). Just one thing, for several days I have been receiving messages requesting information on the different visas, please note that: WITHOUT A VISA AND WITHOUT SPEAKING ENGLISH IT鈥橲 DIFFICULT TO FIND A JOB. You are expatriating to the USA PREPARE, this does not happen overnight. So do like me, start with a J-1 visa which can last up to 18 months and gives a very good experience. So you can prepare a project on the side and set up your project. Oh yes I do not sponsor visas and do not offer jobs. So please refrain from sending me a message like: Hello, my name is x, I want to move to LA, it鈥檚 urgent, can you hire me? It鈥檚 true, I got this kind of message.
