About

Hi, I'm actually a second generation expat, if such a thing is possible. My parents are Californians, but moved to Morocco way back when. I was born and raised in Marrakesh, and speak Moroccan Arabic, French and English with equal fluency. I went back to the States for university. I got a BS in Math and a second degree in Spanish. Then I married my sweetheart, and we decided to move back to Marrakesh to start a family. We have been blessed with 3 children. I have lots of little jobs and random interests and projects: teaching English, tutoring math, website design, diy, writing, photography etc. Like most moms, those things are just the extras, my real work is being present to my children, listening to them and fully seeing them.
Interests: math, english teaching, home decorating, child raising

Hi Rahil, This is a wonderful initiative and one that I can't support enough. I live in Marrakesh and work with helping a small number of single mothers. I realize what an impact education could have had on these women in helping them make good ... Read More
