The chances for more travels and a better life style because of the $$$$. Benefits sounds great, and the expats communities sounds fantatic! I would like to bring my children up in a multiculural environment.
I expect the restrictions on women might be challenging.

British Columbia, Canada
I work as an RN. I came here as I met my Canadian husband in my travels around Europe.

It took me a while to like Canada because it was so different from New Zealand. The longer I've been here the more I appreciate the differences in our culture. I love how the Canadians can be so patriotic within their own country. I love how a lot of people celebrate all the holidays, from Easter to Halloween, everyone makes such a great deal of it. I used to think that was a little cheesy but now I'm really enjoy it.
Working as a nurse here has given me benefits and a higher pay that I dont think I could get in NZ.
People can be a little uptight here. Women put a stong focus on looks and weight which I think can be problematic as I have a little girl. Also, the bigger the better, nothing but brand names culture can leave a lot of people with financial problems. These are things I watch, now that I'm a new Mum.

My first time out of NZ. Loved the Kiwi and Ozzy on OE culture. I miss the travel but not the lifestyle, (staying in dodgy places and being a docer was not much fun).

Awesome travel opportunities! Great place to meet people that you would have never hung out at home. Great fun!
Really crowded!

Came here from the Philippines when I was 11 years old. I love this place and will always call it home. I'm working hard so that one day I can return.

Beautiful place, beautiful people. Awesome culture, relaxed layed back people that never worries to much. Just a fantastic place to call home.
Lack of opportunities. People leave because of minimal or terrible job prospects. Can be hard to live here if you dont have a high paying job, cost of living is high but pay rates not great.

Manila, Philippines
I dont know this place much because I left so young.
