My expat journey

Quebec, Canada
I started my business as a self-employed worker.
I am an interior designer and Home Stager in Quebec.
The sympathy of the people, the calm, the kindness, the customer service, the politeness, the welcome in the stores or the banks, the great outdoors, the wide open spaces and many other things.... very pleasant.
I love Quebec and don't regret leaving France... It took me a year and a half to really adapt, with ups and downs. Since then, I have found my balance and I am gradually making my mark professionally. The people are nice, it takes time to get to know them and that seems normal to me. I am much more peaceful since I lived here. In France, I was chronically stressed :), it must be said that Paris doesn't help! to stay zen. To return to Quebec, I am self-employed and I created my company (easy) and I work in the development of real estate (Home-Staging) and interior decoration. My clients are warm and love my work. It must be said that I'm having fun and I don't feel like I'm working... Word of mouth works well. If you want to come and live in Canada, just one piece of advice: Canada is not France!

Paris, France
Artistic director in a creation studio for a luxury group.
The architecture, the small restaurants, the culture, the monuments, the shops.
Aggression, individualism, noise, stress, strikes, traffic jams, horns for nothing, gratuitous insults. rude people in stores and the list is really too long, I'll stop there.
