I was born in Trinidad and with expat parents lived abroad all over the world (boarding school in uk), met husband (Tom)in last year of school and when we finished our studies stopped travelling with parents and started travelling and working with husband to be as dive instructors/photographers. Fell pregnant with first child in our last place (Turks and Caicos Islands) but couldn't have him there so took the opportunity to return to England to have the baby and invest in a property. 5 years later we have converted an old farm house and had 4 beautiful children but we are now ready to sell up and make our move abroad again. We want to be able to bring our children up abroad in the same way both my husband and I were and Mauritius most definately ticks all of our boxes. I am a Montessori teacher (kindergarten 3-6 years old) and my husband is a paramedic. We have plenty of exciting plans for investment and work in Mauritius and we are hoping to use this blog to find stuff out.
