My husband and I are nearing retirement and looking into where to go. We have traveled extensively in Europe, Central America and Asia. I speak Spanish, Italian and some French. We want to live where we can get to know the local people so we are thinking of a Spanish-speaking country. We are interested in finding volunteer activities. My husband likes to ride his bicycle and we both like to hike, snorkel and swim. Currently we live on the Central Coast of California and we both work. I am a psychologist and he is in the medical field. We are very interested in hearing about ex-pats' experiences and hopefully getting to know some people before we go.
