About Activity

I've traveled to over 20 countries but this is my first time living abroad. I was born here in Saigon but moved to the US as a baby. Now, 40 years later, I've returned to Vietnam,to get to know my family, learn the language and discover my heritage. I'm hoping to immerse myself in the culture while staying connected to the Western world. It's just me and my adorable Havanese dog (Wyatt), embarking on the journey of a lifetime. I would welcome any advice on how to make the transition to living here not just easier but fun and memorable. Making a good friend or two would also be a fabulous start!

Thanks to everyone for their feedback. I've read that the CELTA course is very demanding but relatively short-lived (120 classroom hours in 4 weeks). If anyone else wants to share his/her experience, I'd welcome the information. Read More
