About

I am Nubia Alfonso from Colombia. I live in Toronto Canada since 2002. I work as a therapist and have my private practice in downtown Toronto. I have worked with many agencies dedicates to social services in Canada. My practice is to help people to find better solutions and coping mechanism when facing difficulties in life. I work with individuals, couples and families. The main problems . I provide clinical therapy to individuals experiencing anxiety, loneliness, low self-esteem, anxiety, depression, work concerns, bereavement and other life stressors; to couples experiencing relationship difficulties including poor communication, lack of connectedness, blended families, extended family pressures, or contemplating separation/divorce and counseling to families coping with grief, developmental transitions, cultural adjustment, parenting, blended family concerns, separation or divorce, women and children abuse issues. I also draw from my clinical work with families of different cultural backgrounds. I have worked in different agencies dedicated to the Social Services field in Canada.
