I came to Suzhou a little over a month ago. I lived for more than 6 years in France and in the meantime, I lived a short period in the USA also due to study. I currently work in a Chinese company with 100% Chinese colleagues. It's a struggle because I really have a hard time getting into the mentality of the people here. Colleague relationships are built around hierarchy. Paternalism, lack of transparency... And unspoken standards... I'm lost. My Chinese colleagues consider me a foreigner. And I don't know who I am anymore.
