I am president of the international association "Humanity's Child" aisbl. I am a sociologist and I also obtained a degree in Egyptology (Oriental philology) out of passion for Ancient Egypt. In the disarray that my Egyptian friends are experiencing (no more tourists, gas line, water cut, electricity etc.. certainly to this day with the events that we know are evolving) and having discovered your site, I offered to help them rent charming little Hassan Fathy style houses in a family enclosure at the foot of the Valley of the Queens in Luxor where I myself have my house. Either for expatriates working with the archaeological missions around Luxor, or for cultural holidays for expatriates living in Cairo or their friends, families visiting Egypt. It is a magnificent, quiet place with panoramic views of the Theban mountain and surrounded by gardens, fields in Medinet Habu for very democratic stays, whose owners are real, kind, serious people whom I have known for more than 20 years.
