Well, I want to live in the USA because my dad is American and through him I can get a Green Card for myself, my husband and my children, but I am aware that it is a step that has to be taken after a prior investigation of jobs and schools, I am doing it but I still have fears about many things, such as where will be the best place to raise my children, where we can find good jobs and good salaries, there are 3 children and I cannot go improvising. I want to leave Panama because this country is backward in many aspects and I think in the most important ones, Health, if you get sick I recommend that you look for private help, my husband is deducted 200 dollars a month and I don't even go to government hospitals, public education is useless, we don't even appear in the education ranking lists in America, you have to pay for private education and it is very expensive, I pay 200 dollars a month for a girl, 190 dollars for the child and $180 childcare for the baby plus the school bus $150 a month for 2 children. Haaaaa you can take a bus or a taxi but you have to get up at 4:00 am or go to a public school and be affected by the hundreds of strikes that educators or students make a year in fourth-class facilities. The jobs, if it is true, those who are looking for work will find them, but even if you study 10 master's degrees, you will get a salary that compensates the expenses of living in Panama, gasoline is more expensive than in the USA ($4.50 gallon) and because of the traffic jams, if you live nearby, you will lose that gallon. If you live in the suburbs where professional people live, they did not find a house to buy for less than $100,000.00 dollars, so, fill the tank, put a TV screen in the car to the children and stop by McDonald's and bring them food to endure the traffic jam to your dormitory house because the next day you have to leave at 4:45 am so as not to be late. Well, if that's quality of life, I don't want it. My husband is a Senior Lawyer for one of the largest companies in Panama, economically speaking, and he has quickly reached his limit. What comes next is politics and he doesn't like that rotten world. Well, so many years of working and working and we have not been able to save even $10 dollars, nor change the old car we have, yes here in Panama people go into debt to drive a new car (or because they live in a dormitory city) but the stress is very high, Well, we are a suffocated middle class family.
