My expat journey

Gzira, Costa Rica

Apr 2013 - Jun 2013

Gzira, Costa Rica

Excellent country, small, spread over three islands, two largest and main (Malta and Gozo). Lots of cultural mix, aphrodisiac beaches. Very nice people.
There are no mountains.

San Jose, Costa Rica

Since Apr 1996

San Jose, Costa Rica

Study of International Relations at the National University of Costa Rica; and the Master's Degree at the University for International Cooperation in Project Management.
It is a wonderful country, the warmth of the people makes it a pleasant destination. The natural beauties are unique. The lifestyle is quite enjoyable.
The growing political instability and insecurity.

Nantes, France

Mar 2013 - Apr 2013

Nantes, France

Tourism and language practice.
Fantastic city, it was a dream to know the lands where the great Jules Verne was born.
People are quite cold. The price of living is higher than other European countries that I have visited in recent years (Spain, Germany, Italy, Malta, Latvia, Georgia).

Frankfurt, Germany

Feb 2013 - Feb 2013

Frankfurt, Germany

Turismo.
A world class city, extraordinary development. An almost perfect coexistence system.
I felt the police were racist, because they saw me a little more tanned than the locals, they stopped me many times on the streets to ask for identification documents.

Tbilisi, Georgia

Jun 2012 - Jul 2012

Tbilisi, Georgia

Root recognition.
The new infrastructure and facilities in the country. I loved seeing the serendipitous development after how devastated the country was the last time I saw it. A radical change for the better, congratulations.
Some sectors of society continue to live in the mentality of the Soviet Union. A lot of scum left over from the Soviet educational system.

Amsterdam, Netherlands

Mar 1996 - Apr 1996

Amsterdam, Netherlands

Wonderful city.
At that time I couldn't communicate with anyone because of the language factor.

Byalistok, Poland

Feb 1996 - Mar 1996

Byalistok, Poland

Very friendly people, very pleasant infrastructure. I just loved it.
In those times people were still adapting to the change in the system, a lot of poverty was seen in the streets.

Moscow, Russia

Jan 1996 - Feb 1996

Moscow, Russia

Yalta, Ukraine

Mar 1995 - Jan 1996

Yalta, Ukraine

Primary school completed.
Wonderful city, excellent landscapes, very cooperative people. I look forward to returning as soon as possible to visit this majestic area of the Crimean Peninsula.
Public transportation was moderate.

Moscow, Russia

Dec 1994 - Mar 1995

Moscow, Russia

A metropolis, but I was not in the best years either.
A lot of chaos, a lot of poverty, nationalist attitude on the part of many, xenophobia.

Kiev, Ukraine

Oct 1994 - Dec 1994

Kiev, Ukraine

I was not in kyiv in the best years of its significance. But I loved the food and the dedication of many people with a high collective fighting spirit. Admirable.
At that time everything was catastrophic.

Tbilisi, Georgia

Mar 1988 - Oct 1994

Tbilisi, Georgia

The first years of my life.
It is my nation, my people. At that time it was chaos, now I have had the opportunity to return and I recognize that it has become a world-class country, a fact that pleases me very much.
The conformist mentality of the Georgian people, and the constant conflict with Russia that has given so many negative consequences to the country.
