I am French and have been living in Vietnam since the beginning of 2012. I came to Vietnam in 1995 for the first time, I returned often between 2005 and 2012 to adopt my 2 children. I speak Vietnamese, which seems to me the minimum when you live in a foreign country. I find life here very pleasant, and as I regularly tell the Vietnamese, I am surprised every day, so there is no time to get bored. However, it seems necessary to me to understand the culture in order to live there comfortably and sustainably.
