Hi there — I’m Pamela. I grew up in Ireland surrounded by computers, art and apples. In the 1990s I studied Spanish with history, politics and economics. Fast-forward two decades and I’m in Santander on the North coast of Spain with a Spanish husband and three kids. The route took in Brussels, Ireland (back home for a bit), London, Madrid and Amsterdam before arriving to Santander. The jobs I’ve worked at are as varied as the locations. In addition to writing content in English for local companies, I blog about buildings and places that I like in the city of Santander. It's a city that's very popular with Spaniards but less-known abroad. I try to show the unusual or interesting bits that you don't always find in a guide-book or magazine article.
