Hello, I live in France and I am the son of an American soldier who landed on our French coasts in 44. Only two years ago, I was fortunate to have been able to find a whole new family in Florida: brothers, sisters, nieces... In October 2013, my new Family gathered in Port St Lucie to welcome me. I stay there 8 days. So happy! Only here, I don't speak English and my new family doesn't speak French. My wish (hence my registration...) is to find a good charitable soul (retired or student) to be our interpreter for part of these eight days (against expenses of course or a stay with us in France!). Is anyone interested? or do you have any advice for me? Thank you for all your responses. John (junior) P.S: In 3 or 4 years, I plan to come and settle for a few months in Florida to learn the language and get to know my family better, so I can communicate better with them when I return to France.
