I have been in Thailand for 4 years, I live in Chumphon, after having been 1 year 1/2 in Hua Hin, Chumphon, called: the southern gate, is for me a good compromise between the busy beaches of the south, and places without any foreigners, Frequented by English teachers, tourists do not linger there, a beach 15 km away, is in high season December > March is a tourist beach appreciated by skate surfers and Thais and on the other side a Burmese fishing village, very few foreigners, it is better to jabber Thai to fully enjoy it.
