I am a life-long expat with quite an usual story. I was born with cerebral palsy in newly independent Ghana in 1958 to Scottish parents. I'm disabled, but have been a life-long expat. I've lived, worked, and travelled independently in various parts of the world. Consequently, my experience of being an expat has a somewhat different aspect - one that is still quite unsual, I believe.
